Her Story Podcast Policy Details 1. Voluntary Participation Participation in Her Story Podcast is entirely voluntary. Guests choose what they share and may decline to answer any question. No guest is ever required to disclose personal, sensitive, or traumatic information beyond their comfort level. 2. Purpose of Recording All interviews are recorded for the purpose of producing podcast episodes, promotional materials, and related content for Her Story: The Gathering Inc. Participation confirms permission for recorded content to be used in alignment with the mission of empowerment, healing, and faith-centered storytelling. 3. Emotional and Spiritual Sensitivity Her Story recognizes that many stories involve trauma, healing, and deeply personal experiences. While we strive to create a safe and spiritually grounded environment, the podcast does not provide clinical counseling or crisis services. Guests should share only what they feel emotionally prepared to discuss. 4. Confidentiality and Respect Information shared off-air and identified as private will not be used in any recording or publication. Her Story honors each guest’s boundaries and will maintain confidentiality regarding any content the guest designates as “not for public release.” 5. Right to Review Guests will be given temporary access to review their edited episode before publication for the purpose of confirming accuracy and comfort. This material is not to be shared, downloaded, or distributed. 6. Editing Rights Her Story: The Gathering Inc. reserves the right to edit recorded material for clarity, flow, length, and safety. Edits may include removing sensitive names, triggering details, or content that compromises privacy or legal considerations. 7. Liability Release By signing the accompanying disclaimer, guests acknowledge the personal risks associated with sharing their story publicly and release Her Story: The Gathering Inc., its founder, hosts, and team members from liability related to emotional responses, public reactions, or consequences arising from voluntary disclosure. 8. Rescheduling and Cancellations Guests who need to reschedule should notify the host at least 24 hours in advance. Her Story will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new recording date. 9. Commitment to a Safe Environment Her Story maintains a respectful, faith-centered atmosphere.
